We are excited to host our annual Moorhead Community Resource Center Back to School Event on Thursday, July 20th, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at MCRC located at 8400 East 10th Street. We have over 50 community organizations supporting this event with free school supplies, backpacks, games, food, face and nail painting, haircuts, resources, and more. For more information, please contact Courtney Modisette at Moorhead Community Resource Center.

Warren Central and Warren Central Athletics, in partnership with the Bloom Project, are hosting the Student-Athlete and Leaders Mental Health Conference this Saturday from 11:00 - 3:00 pm. We are excited to have former Indianapolis Colts player Gary Brackett be the keynote speaker and several Warren Alum, including Sheldon Day, share their stories and resources around this important topic. Due to the limited space of 100 attendees, registration is required. Please use the QR code on the attached flyer or visit this link to register. For more information, please contact Lauren Hughes in the WCHS Athletic Department.

As we approach the start of the school year, each of our Warren schools will be hosting a back-to-school night. Details for your child’s back-to-school event can be found on your child’s school website under events. This is a great time to meet staff, tour the school, and start the year off in a fun, positive way!

Wednesday calls and emails will be weekly now to provide you with the most up-to-date information. If you have any questions or needs, please feel free to contact your child’s school or our District offices.

Hope to see you at some of the upcoming events, and I want to wish you a wonderful two weeks before the start of the school year.

Thank you for your continued support and investment in our Warren scholars, schools, and staff.

Dr. Tim Hanson, Superintendent of Schools for MSD Warren Township
