Our 4th Graders had special visitors from Raymond Park this afternoon! Ms. Cheek and Ms. Cannon, the 5th grade AP & Counselor, stopped by to meet our 4th graders and share a little bit about intermediate school. Our students were excited to hear all about these new upcoming adventures -- classroom structure, lunch choices, sports options, Ranger to the CORE, and lockers -- and they can't wait to head to their visit to RPIMS next week! #WarrenWill
We partnered with Junior Achievement to provide our students with an opportunity to learn about different careers. Volunteers from community businesses joined our classrooms to lead experiences that increase student's knowledge of personal finance, work & career readiness & entrepreneurship. Activities & games allowed our students to make connections between what they are learning in the classroom & their future career prospects. Lowell’s Kindergarteners went to the Indianapolis Firefighters Museum and learned about fire safety. They heard speakers, watched videos and got to practice fire safety drills! You can tell they had so much FUN!

The kindergarten classes held a Royal Tea & Ball to wrap up their Kings & Queens reading unit. Students & teachers dressed up in fancy attire & enjoyed some tea & fancy cakes! The students also enjoyed dancing at the end of this special occasion. It was quite the Royal event!
